<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage added with a bacteriostatic agent containing a polyphenol fraction having specific effective bacteriostatic actions, and prevented from precipitate formation even when the beverage is allowed to stand for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The beverage added with the bacteriostatic agent is prevented from precipitate formation causing apparent defection by cooling the bacteriostatic agent for beverage to partially solidify and filtrating the resultant precipitate in production of the natural bacteriostatic agent by separating polyphenol fractions by liquid column chromatography for reversed phase separation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
