<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with welding work in a step height part, by preventing easy shape change such as a change in a special round curved surface shape and the length of a ceiling support, in ceiling joist receiving connecting hardware. <P>SOLUTION: This ceiling joist receiving connecting hardware is composed of a cross-sectional substantially U-shaped channel 2 for suspending and holding a ceiling joist, and a rocking connecting member 3 rockingly supported in a desired angle range in one end part in the longitudinal direction of the channel.
