PURPOSE:To prevent dust difficult to take out from sticking to an objective lens by arranging a recording and reproducing optical head above an optical disk or a magneto-optical disk, arranging the objective lens on its lower face and arranging a positioning driving part of the optical disk or the magneto- optical disk under the optical head. CONSTITUTION:An optical head 1 is arranged above a disk 8, and an objective lens 2 mounted on the optical head 1 is arranged on the lower face of the lower face so that only the lower face of the objective lens 2 is exposed, and driving parts 10 to 14 which position the disk 8 to a prescribed position under the optical head 1 are arranged under the optical head 1. A turntable 7b or a rotating part rotated by the same revolving shaft is provided with plural projections or blades 7a extended in directions where a centrifugal force acts. Thus, dust containing oil or the like heavier than air is not stuck to the objective lens 2 because falling, and dust lighter than air is not stuck to the objective lens 2 because being blown away in the outside peripheral direction by projections or blades 7a. |
