PURPOSE:To obtain an image receiving sheet generating no blocking or lap-feed in a printing or image forming apparatus by providing an image receiving surface to the surface of a base material sheet and forming minute projections to the rear thereof. CONSTITUTION:In an image receiving sheet, an image receiving surface 2 is provided to the surface of a base material sheet 1 and minute projections 3 are provided to the rear thereof. As the most pref. method for forming those minute projections 3, there is a method for applying a resin solution by utilizing a gravure plate. The diameter of one minute projection is about 50-100mum and the height thereof is about 0.5-10mum and the density of the minute projections is pref. about 100-5000/cm<2>. Further, the minute projections 3 may be formed to the second base material sheet 4 and the rear of the second base material sheet may be bonded to the rear of the first base material sheet 1 through an adhesive layer 5. Furthermore, a special release layer may not be provided when the rear of the first base material sheet 1 has good releasability like a plastic film but, in the case of a base material sheet inferior to releasability like paper, a proper release layer 6 is pref. provided. |
