STILL PICTURE VIDEO IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE FOR EYEBALL MICROSCOPE

PURPOSE:To obtain a clear still picture by allowing a one-shot image pickup controller using an optical trigger pulse signal to interlock the change of a vertical synchronizing signal of a video camera, the lighting of a strobo light source and recording to an external storage device. CONSTITUTION:A one-shot image pickup controller 5 inputting an optional trigger pulse signal interlocks the change of the vertical synchronizing signal of the video camera 2, the lighting of the strobo light source 4 and the recording to the external storage device 3. That is, a video output signal is recorded on an external recording device 8 by an external recording control signal and the actual recording operation is in standby up to a succeeding vertical synchronizing signal based on the relation between a video storage signal of the video camera 2 and the video output signal and the recording is started by the input of the vertical synchronizing signal. The luminous lighting quantity is increased by using the strobo light source 4 to allow the light source to radiate the image pickup object in this way and a sharp cell image of cornea endothelium is obtained.
