PURPOSE:To inhibit the power consumption and calorific value of a speed controller at a low value by outputting variable voltage corresponding to a control signal from the speed controller controlling the number of revolution, speed, etc., of a motor and driving the motor. CONSTITUTION:The number of revolution, speed, etc., of a motor 3 are controlled by a speed controller 2. The speed controller 2 transmits a supply-voltage control signal 4 over a power unit 1, output voltage of which can be fluctuated, in response to the time of a large quantity of required currents such as the time of the start of the motor, the time of heavy load, etc., and the time of a small quantity of required currents such as the time of light-load constant speed. The power unit 1 varies output voltage 5 in response to the supply- voltage control signal 4, and drives the motor 3. Accordingly, power consumption and a calorific value in the speed controller 2 are inhibited at a low value. |
