<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the rusting of an intermediate tray made of metal plate and black streaks adhered to a sheet by providing a recessed part for orienting sheet carrying direction on the sheet guide surface of the guide member of the intermediate tray, and providing a rib member made of resin over the vicinity of a carrying roller. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device for forming double-faced or multiple image on a sheet S has an intermediate tray 20 for placing a bundle of sheets S after completion of form primary image formation. The guide members 31, 32, 33 of the intermediate tray 20 are made of plate metal, a recessed part 34 for orienting sheet carrying direction is provided on their sheet guiding surfaces, and a rib member 35 made of resin is provided over the vicinity of carrying rollers 26a, 26b, 27a, 27b. The contact part end 35a between the recessed part 34 and the rib member 35 is set in a position lower thsn the sheet guiding surface. As the sheet S slid on the resin rib part 35, abrasion is hardly caused, and troubles such as jam caused by contamination of the sheet S and generation of rust can be prevented.</p> |
