- an imaging device for placing thereon a printing plate (103) that has photo-curable material thereon;
- a source of one or more laser beams (113) coupled to a source of image data and operable to image a plate (103); and
- an exposure unit having a plurality of UV emitting LEDs (105) arranged along the width of the plate (103), wherein the plate (103) is displaceable relative to the UV emitting LEDs to expose at least an imaged portion of the plate (103) after the imaging process to cure the at least imaged portion of the plate (103),
