<p>The pressure monitoring device incorporates a pressure sensor for detection of tire pressure and generation of a corresponding signal. An air valve seat (14) is made of electrically conductive material electrically connected to the pressure sensor for signal transmission to a transmission antenna. The antenna has a metal cap (161) connected to the air valve seat, at least one ring-shaped substrate (162) which defines a centered coupling hole in which the cap fits and at least one cable of conductive metal fastened in a spiral in the at least one substrate around the centered coupling hole. The cable of conductive material has an inner end exposed to a peripheral wall in the centered coupling hole in the substrate and electrically connected to the cap. A covering component (28) made of plastic covers the cap and protects the at least one substrate.</p> |
