<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing corrosion of fuel cell recovered water. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell power generating apparatus comprises a hydrogen generator 1 for generating modified hydrogen gas; and a fuel cell 3 for generating power by allowing hydrogen gas to react with oxygen gas electrochemically. The fuel cell power generator comprises a water recovering section 5 for recovering water from water vapor discharged from at least one of fuel and air electrodes; a water storing section 6 having a tank 6a for storing the recovered water; and a water supply portion 10 for supplying water stored in the tank 6a to the hydrogen generator 1; and a discharge instruction information output section for instructing that water stored in the tank 6a should be discharged to the outside. The tank 6a is configured so that it can discharge water to the outside to prevent the corrosion of water stored in the tank 6a, and is configured so that it is determined whether water is to be discharged to the outside.
