PURPOSE:To improve strength, etc., in obtaining a foamed synthetic resin by reacting an active hydrogen compound with polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a low boiling-halogenated hydrocarbon-based blowing agent by using a specific blowing agent and a specific polyisocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:In obtaining a foamed synthetic resin by reacting an active hydrogen compound having two or more isocyanate-reactive and active hydrogen-containing groups with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a low-boiling halogenated hydrocarbon-based blowing agent, one or more of 1,1-dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethane and 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane are used as the whole or part of the blowing agent and a polyisocyanate compound containing >=2.5 isocyanate groups is used as the polyisocyanate compound to give the high quality foamed synthetic resin while preventing environmental destruction. |
