The device has a support wing (4) whose lower end has a mounting unit (5) to fix the device to a shelf, where the device is formed by a monoblock plastic element. The unit (5) cooperates with a perforated metallic shelf presenting lines of superposed upper and lower orifices. The unit has a flat base (11) constituting a support surface on the shelf from which a main foot (7) projects towards bottom, and destined to traverse orifices. The foot has a blocking notch (8) in contact with one of internal lines of upper orifice. A male part (9) of the unit cooperates with upper orifice by fitting. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a device for displaying signage.
