Whether the client is a registered client of tone call return signal service, is determined by activating a certain mode, for example, activating an intelligent network, activating interception of signals, activating forwarding of signals or activating a switching device. If it is determined, that the client is a registered client of tone call return signal service, connection is set up between source switching device and end switching device and connection between switching device and tone call return signal device.
