PURPOSE:To easily evaluate a 1cm dosage equivalent in an optional radiation field by providing a radiation flux measuring instrument and a device for storing a conversion coefficient for conversion from energy dependent radiation flux of each kind to the 1cm dosage equivalent. CONSTITUTION:A 1cm dosage equivalent calculator 2 is connected to an energy dependent radiation flux measuring instrument 1 and a energy dependent radiation flux measurement result of each kind of radiation is inputted to the 1cm dosage equivalent calculator 2. The calculator 2 inputs the conversion coefficient for converting the dosage equivalent of 1 cm depth in an ICRU sphere by the kind and energy dependency of radiation from the conversion coefficient storage device 3, calculates the sum of products of radiation flux with energy corresponding to the conversion coefficient of energy in radiation kind units, and calculates the total of the sums of products when radiation working environment consists of plural kinds of radiation to calculate and outputs the 1cm dosage equivalent to an input/output device 4. Consequently, the 1cm dosage equivalent in an optional radiation field can be evaluated.
