A motor drive device is provided to reduce manufacturing costs of a motor drive device by forming a circuit capable of reducing the number of a relay switch. A motor drive device comprises a first drive motor(11) and a second drive motor(13), a first relay switch(21), a second relay switch(22), a third relay switch(23) and a control unit(30). The first relay switch includes a first normal-open contact(21a) coupled to a plus part of a direct current power supply circuit, a first normal-close contact(21c) coupled to a minus part of the direct current power supply circuit and a first converting contact(21b) coupled between the first and second drive motors, and rotates the first and second drive motors forwardly. The second relay switch includes a second normal-open contact(22a) coupled to the plus part of the direct current power supply circuit, a second normal-close contact(22c) coupled to the minus part of the direct current power supply circuit and a second converting contact(22b) coupled to the third relay switch, and rotates the first and second drive motors backwardly. The third relay switch includes a third normal-open contact(23a) coupled to the first drive motor, a third normal-close contact(23c) coupled to the second drive motor and a third converting contact(23b) coupled to the second relay switch, and selects any one drive of the first and second drive motors. The control unit controls the first, second and third relay switches.
