A LED(Light Emitting Diode) and a channel are provided to maintain a constant brightness of an LED(Light Emitting Diode) for a long time by dissipating heat from the LED to a metallic channel. A Light Emitting Diode includes a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(101) and a light emitting unit, which is formed on the PCB. The light emitting unit includes a chip-type LED(102), a concave groove(103-1), a via-hole(h1), and a conductive pad(103-2). The chip-type LED is protruded from one end of the PCB. A pair of concave grooves are formed at both ends of the PCB apart from a predetermined distance from both sides of the chip-type LED. The via-hole is formed from one end of the PCB, which is exposed by the concave groove, to a bottom surface in a thickness direction. Another via-hole is formed on the conductive pad and inserted into the concave groove. The conductive pad is coupled with the chip-type LED using an electric line inside the PCB. |
