PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber having a dialysis membrane making removal of a solute with middle molecular weight and larger molecular weight good for resolving dissatisfaction of a sieving curve regarding middle molecular removal by existing hollow fibers used for blood dialysis.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyaryl ether polymer fiber containing at least one polyaryl ether polymer and at least one polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) containing at least middle weight PVP having K value of 40 to 55 (for example a sulfone polymer fiber such as a polysulfone fiber). There is provided a hollow fiber for dialysis which is preferably a middle weight PVP of 0.1 to 15 wt.% based on weight of the polyaryl ether polymer fiber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
