A method and system for controlling network access, the method includes following steps: S102, gateway equipment builds general network connection to network management equipment; S104, the gateway equipment receives parameter information about service type applied by the gateway equipment from the network management equipment, based on the parameter information, the gateway equipment builds network connection to the network management equipment matched to service type applied by the gateway equipment under general network connection; and S106, the gateway equipment controls to select general network connection, or network connection matchedto service type applied by the gateway equipment based on the user type, and carries out network access control. The invention realizes network access control, and at same time solves issue for multiple users to log on network.
