PURPOSE:To reproduce even a thin line with fidelity without the entire picture from being made black by controlling an output time width being the minimum unit of a picture data in response to pattern information and outputting the result. CONSTITUTION:A pattern of a picture data inputted by an input means is detected by a pattern detection means and an output means outputting the picture data in response to the detected pattern information controls an output time width being a minimum unit of the picture data in response to the pattern information and outputs the result. That is, a data selector multiplexer 8 selects one print time width timing among six kinds of print time width timings inputted to terminals D0-D5 according to a 3-bit print time width code and outputs the result to an AND gate 9 as a mask signal. Thus, the entirely black picture is avoided and even thin lines are reproduced with fidelity. |
