The column (C) has a pair of hollow tubes (1) that is integrated together, where the tubes are sized such that interior space is accessible by an operator. The interior space constitutes a ballasting case into which a set of ballasts (5) are introduced until a null buoyancy of the column is obtained. The tubes are fixed to one another by welding and by using a fixing unit e.g. rivet, where the tubes are distributed around a central tube. An independent claim is also included for a deep water platform carrying a building such as office, comprising a set of elements of plane support.
