A hand tool includes a barrel 13 including a stationary part 131 and a movable part 132 which is movable relative to the stationary part. A utility member 123 is located in a first end of the stationary part of the barrel and an operation unit 11 is connected to the movable part. A through hole is defined in the operation unit and a shoulder extends inward from an inner periphery of the through hole. A utility member extends through the through hole and rested on the shoulder. A spring is connected between the movable part and the operation unit. When pulling the operation unit in a direction away from the stationary part, the utility member is lifted together with the operation unit, when releasing the operation unit, the spring pulls the operation unit downward an the utility member protrudes out from through hole and can be easily accessed. The utility member may be a screwdriver or magnetic pickup tool and the tool may be a flashlight. |
