A developing device and an image forming apparatus including the developer and attachably and detachably installed in a main body are provided to minimize the image forming apparatus by composing the developing apparatus in the center part of the image forming apparatus. A frame(130) has a handle unit(131). A memory device is installed in a frame. A photoconductor is located to the first direction which is the direction in which the developer(100) is mounted in the front of the handle part. A rotation guide unit(140) is located to the first direction in the front of photoconductor. The terminal electrically connected to the memory device is installed in the upper side of frame. The terminal is located to the first direction in the front of the rotation guide.
