The device (10) has a support unit (1) articulated on another support unit (2) by a connection (3) e.g. pivot connection or ball and socket connection, where the units (1, 2) are supported on respective parts (100, 200) e.g. turbocompressor's turbine casing and catalytic converter device, of an exhaust line of a heat engine of a motor vehicle. A locking unit i.e. screw (4), permits the unit (1) to apply a locking effort on the unit (2) to displace the unit (2) relative to the unit (1) around the connection.
