PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front structure for a vehicle in which a bumper beam and a front side frame are connected via a crash can, the structure being designed such that impact transmitted to a vehicle chamber side in the event of small overlap collision is reduced while a repair cost in the case of damage of the crash can resulting from a low speed collision is reduced and a degree of freedom in design of front of the vehicle body is satisfactorily maintained.SOLUTION: A first projecting part 50 is provided, which projects outwards in the direction of vehicle width from a front side frame. The front end of the first projecting part 50 is disposed in the same position as or behind a connection part between a crash can 6 and a front side frame in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body. A side face of the outside of the first projecting part 50 in the direction of vehicle width is formed so as to incline inwards in the direction of vehicle width, towards the rear of the vehicle body in a plan view. The first projecting part 50 and a power unit 30 are made to overlap in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
