PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a digital control power supply device while ensuring stability of output voltage.SOLUTION: A digital control power supply device 1 comprises an A/D converter 31 which converts an analog signal to a digital signal, an arithmetic circuit 33 which performs an operation on the basis of the digital signal, and a control signal generating circuit 34 which outputs a control signal DCS on the basis of the operation results of the arithmetic circuit 33. In sleep mode, the digital control power supply device stops A/D conversion by the A/D converter 31 and duty ratio operation by the arithmetic circuit 33 to drastically suppress power consumption. The digital control power supply device also controls a switching element 14 on the basis of the data stored in a duty holding circuit 42 before stopping the duty ratio operation to secure the stability of output voltage Vout.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
