PURPOSE:To prevent a relative slippage between a vessel and the printed part of a film by providing grippers which are capable of opening and closing and designed to move in a reciprocating motion while holding the vessel, which has a flange from the upper edge outward, and the film, which is on the flange, by gripping two opposing sides of the flange together with two side edges of the film. CONSTITUTION:In a mechanism equipped with a sealing device A for attaching a film 76 in the form of a strip to two opposing sides 2 of a flange of a vessel 1 by sealing, a sealing device B for attaching the film 76 to the other two opposing sides 3 of the flange by sealing, a vessel-feeding device C for feeding a vessel 1 to the sealing device A, a vessel-transporting device D for transporting a vessel 1, a vessel-discharging device E for discharging a vessel 1 after attachment of a film lid 4, and a film-feeding device F for feeding the film 76 to the upper side of the flange 2, 3, there are provided grippers 67, 68 which are capable of opening and closing and designed to move in a reciprocating motion while holding the flange 2, 3 with the film 76 thereon by gripping the two opposing sides 3 of the flange together with the two side edges of the film 76. This constitution enables simultaneously conveying the vessel 1 and the film 76 in the form of a strip without allowing them to shift from their relative positions so that a relative slippage between the vessel and the printed part of the film can be prevented. |
