A brake pedal is disclosed. According to the present invention, the brake pedal comprises: a pedal arm rotationally installed in a vehicle; a push rod mounted in the pedal arm and transmitting a rotational force of the pedal arm to a booster; a pad which is coupled to the pedal arm to allow rotation and movement, wherein a foot of a driver is seated; and an emergency braking device connecting the pad and the push rod to enable the push rod to be moved by being linked with rotation or movement of the pad. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the brake pedal, enabling a vehicle to be smoothly braked even if an obstacle is introduced below the brake pedal. |
