The present invention relates to an electrode assembly for electric discharge machining, which improves a mounting and supporting structure of an electrode for electric discharge machining. The electrode assembly for electric discharge machining comprises: an electrode block which machines a shape according to a workpiece for electric discharge machining, wherein an upper surface thereof forms a flat mounting surface to mount a plurality of bolts to protrude; a plurality of medium blocks into which the bolts are inserted through a plurality of vertical through holes; an electrode assembly jig comprising a plurality of horizontal channels indented on one side thereof to a prescribed depth to insert and detach the medium blocks, a plurality of pipe insertion holes indented to insert the bolts from a lower surface thereof to insert the bolts into the vertical through holes of the medium blocks, and a plurality of bolt mounting holes indented and connected to the horizontal channels through one side of an opposite side thereof where the horizontal channels are formed; and a plurality of adjustment bolts bolt-mounted through the bolt mounting holes to laterally press the medium blocks inserted into the horizontal channels to support the bolts inserted into the vertical through holes and the electrode block using the bolts as media. Accordingly, material waste is minimized by improving a mounting structure of the electrode block and the electrode assembly jig to minimize loss of manpower and time. Damage to an electrode caused during a mounting process of the electrode block and when performing electric discharge machining can be prevented. |
