The present invention relates to a rubber composition for wrist watch straps and a method of preparing the same. The rubber composition comprises: 100 parts by weight of a fluoro rubber; 10-50 parts by weight of zinc oxide; 15-30 parts by weight of titanium dioxide; 0.5-3 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent; 0.5-5 parts by weight of a crosslinking promoter; and 0.1-1 parts by weight of a processing aid, whereas the method comprises a step in which a crosslinked material prepared in the form of a block from mixing the above composition is elongated using a draft roller heated to 60-70°C for 30-40 minutes, and then molded into a sheet having a thickness of 3-4 mm. The present invention provides the rubber composition for wrist watch straps that is highly resistant to color migration and contamination and has superior tensile strength, wear resistance, surface hardness, non-adhesive properties, and water resistance. |
