The present invention relates to a calculation programming language based simulator having a GUI interface and a simulator executing method using the same. The simulator comprises: a simulation engine module (260) configured to perform an operation to obtain a value of a time varying system including a plurality of calculation equations; and a graphic user interface module (210) configured to provide a user input to the simulation engine module (260). Therefore, the simulator can be easily maintained.
