The present invention relates to a display device and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the display device comprises: a substrate; a plurality of data lines located on the substrate; a first color filter located in a region between a first data line and a second data line, which are adjacent to each other, among the plurality of data lines; a first dummy color filter configured to overlap a third data line adjacent to the first data line, separated from the first color filter, and configured to show the same color as the first color filter; and a second color filter located in a region between the first data line and the third data line and configured to show a color different from the first color filter. A thickness of the first dummy color filter is thinner than a thickness of the first color filter. The second color filter is located on the first dummy color filter. Therefore, the display device can lower manufacturing costs. |
