Provided is a card connector including a high reliable detecting switch to detect insertion of a card or a tray carrying the card. The detecting switch includes first and second switch arms. The first switch arm is extended as a cantilever shape by setting a first end unit as a fixing unit. The first switch arm elastically converts a second end unit to an inside direction in the inserted card or the like. The second switch arm is inwardly disposed of the first switch arm. The second switch arm is extended as the cantilever shape by fixing the first end unit. The second switch arm is touched to the first switch arm which is inwardly converted. A bending unit is formed in the first switch arm to be returned. The bending unit is slid along a convex curved side of the inserted card and the second switch arm.
