The present invention relates to an electrode sensor for determining the carbon dioxide gas-liquid boundary height (liquid level) in a temporary storage tank serving as a temporary storage for transporting carbon dioxide from a generation place (collection place) to a storage place by a ship to store a large amount of carbon dioxide which is representative greenhouse gas causing global warming and weather changes, in an offshore underground place. According to the present invention, it is possible to effectively determine the change in height of a carbon dioxide gas-liquid boundary in the temporary storage tank. In other words, the height of the gas-liquid boundary is effectively determined irrespective of the normal state that the internal pressure of the temporary storage tank is constant or an abnormal state that the internal pressure is not constant. Therefore, it is possible to predict and prevent rapid pressure rising which can occur since the entire interior of the temporary storage tank is filled with a liquid, and it is possible to raise volume utilization in the temporary storage tank. |
