PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food additive raw material capable of adding to food a function of preventing or improving sleep disorder, through addition to the food.SOLUTION: A food additive composition for preventing or improving sleep disorder contains a soybean protein hydrolysate. The food additive composition has 50 wt.% or more of a peptide content with a molecular weight of less than 500 in the soybean protein hydrolysate, to the total amount of peptide and free amino acid. A method of application of a protein hydrolysate derived from soybean, for adding to food a function of preventing or improving sleep disorder, through addition to the food is also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
