PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is less likely to cause a body fluid to flow on a skin facing surface of a side sheet and to cause lateral leakage of the body fluid and hardly gives rubbing feeling and discomfort in wearing.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 includes a first body sheet 1B of an irregular structure in which projecting parts 13B and a recessed parts 14B are alternately arranged, and a first side sheet 1S of an irregular structure in which projecting parts 13S and recessed parts 14S are alternately arranged. A surface sheet 2 has a hollow structure formed by joining the surface sheet 2 with a second body sheet 21 at the recessed parts 14B of the first body sheet 1B through joining parts 15. A side sheet 5 has a hollow structure formed by joining the side sheet 5 with a second side sheet 51 at the recessed parts 14S of the first side sheet 1S through the joining parts 15. The projecting parts 13B of the first body sheet 1B engage with the recessed parts 14S of the first side sheet 1S, and the projecting parts 13S of the first side sheet 1S engage with the recessed strip parts 14B of the first body sheet 1B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
