The present invention relates to a content transfer service method using a printed matter, and more specifically, to a content transfer service method using a printed matter which allows service subscriber A to edit content to be transferred with an image and encode the content to print the content to allow service subscriber B to decode a recognition code of a printed matter to check the edited content with the image although the content is not shown on a printed matter. According to the present invention, the content transfer service method using the printed matter comprises: 1) a step of executing a service application in terminal A and selecting an image; 2) a step of editing content on the selected image on an application screen; 3) a step of setting a password on the application screen; 4) a step where terminal A transmits editing information of the content and the password to a server; 5) a step where the server stores the editing information of the content and the password and transmits storage information to terminal A; 6) a step where terminal A generates a prescribed recognition code recording the storage information and inserts the recognition code into the image; and 7) a step where terminal A transmits the image into which the recognition code is inserted to a printing device to print the image.
