PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage prevention device at a flange joint part capable of restricting deformation of a packing toward outside as a diameter of a metal fitting is reduced and preventing reduction of a leakage preventive effect or deterioration in workability.SOLUTION: A leakage prevention device 1 comprises a packing 3 wound around an outer periphery of a flange joint part 10 and an annular metal fitting 4 installed at an outer peripheral side of the flange joint part 10 through the packing 3. The packing 3 includes a belt-like main body 31 extending in a circumferential direction and a plurality of protrusions protruded from the main body 31 toward the inner peripheral side. The plurality of protrusions comprise a center protrusion 32 for closing a clearance between the flanges and side protrusions 33 and 34 formed at both sides of the center protrusion 32 and closely being in contact with the outer peripheral surfaces of the flanges 11 and 12. Both ends of the main body 31 in the width direction are provided with protrusions 35 protruded more outside than the side protrusions 33 and 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
