PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of processings corresponding to various communication standards and to make an operation easy by transmitting data while converting them to the use standard of reception data when the use communication standards of transmission side and reception side terminal equipments are different. CONSTITUTION:When a connection request signal from a communication terminal equipment 7a to a communication terminal equipment 8a is inputted to an exchange 2, a control part 3 and a communication standard information storage part 5 are referred and it is discriminated that the communication standards of the equipments 7a and 8a are different. After executing the line connection of the equipments 7a and 8a through a line exchange part 1a, the control part 3 sends out the data from the equipment 7a with a communication standard A. These data are converted to a communication standard X according to a conversion program, which is stored in the memory of the exchange 1, by the control part 3 and transmitted to the equipment 8a. Thus, it is not necessary to prepare the program corresponding to the various communication standard and the operation of an operator is made easy. |
