According to an embodiment of the present invention, a power device for a ship is provided. The power device for a ship, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a combustion engine which generates power by burning fuel; an exhaust pipe which exhausts the exhaust gas from the combustion engine; a washing water supply pipe which supplies washing water; a scrubber which sprays the washing water supplied through the washing water supply pipe to the exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust pipe; and a washing water discharge pipe which discharges the washing water in the scrubber to be supplied to a ballast water tank. Therefore, the present invention uses the washing water passing through a wet scrubber system as ballast water.
