[Also in Group XV] A roller, for a roller skate, comprises a rubber body 31 bonded to a peripherally grooved sleeve 32 having annular recesses 33 at each end forming bearing surfaces for balls 34. Collars 35 screwed on to a spindle 37 retain balls 34 in position. Alternatively, Fig. 5, the rubber body 40 is bonded to a sleeve 41 formed with a rib which is compressed to form a flange 42. The periphery of the flange is cut away at intervals, 43, to form teeth to key the rubber body 40 in position. The spindle 44 is journaled in ball-bearings 45 located within sleeve 41.
