<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the discontinuity accidents of transparent electrodes at the time of formation by etching and to improve the yield of the RGB color filter with electrodes by forming the RGB color filter with electrodes laid with the transparent electrodes as the stripe direction which coincides with the stripe direction of filter layers and is superposed thereon. CONSTITUTION:The transparent electrodes are laid as the stripe direction which coincides with the stripe direction of the filter layers 3 and is superposed thereon. A photoresist 6 is applied on a conductive film 5A and an exposing stage is executed by presuming that the stripe direction is the same as the stripe direction of the filter layers 3. The transparent electrodes 5, the stripe direction of which is made coincident with the stripe direction of the filter layers 3 and is superposed thereon, are, therefore, prevented from intersecting with the projecting parts of a protective layer 4. The generation of the overetching arising from the etching stage is obviated in this way and the discontinuity accidents of the transparent electrodes 5 in this stage are prevented with an extremely high probability.</p> |
