PURPOSE:To improve the color development property of the color developer and the electrostatic chargeability as a toner by incorporating the polyvalent metal salt of specific arom. carboxylic acid into the above compsn. CONSTITUTION:The color developer which is made to develop a color by the effect of a dye and dye precursor is pulverized so that the electrostatic applica tion of the powder on an arbitrary medium can be made. The polyvalent metal salt of the arom. carboxylic acid expressed by formula I is incorporated into the color developer. In the formula I, R1 to R4 denote hydrogen, halogen, etc. Namely, the polyvalent metal salt of the arom. carboxylic acid is melted, mixed and ground together with a phenolic compd. and pressure fixing imparting agent, etc. Thus, the color developer toner improved in the electrostatic chargea bility and the color development property of the dye precursor is obtd. |
