PURPOSE:To prevent the scumming, blocking, etc., of the surface of an ink layer, and to obtain gradation expression excellent in reproducibility at the time of thermal transfer by forming a surface layer composed of fine particles onto the ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A surface layer 303 consisting of fine particles is shaped onto an ink layer 302. It is desirable that a resin having particle size of 0.1-2.0mum is used as the surface layer, and polymethyl methacrylate is employed as the resin. Accordingly, scumming, blocking, etc., to paper, a film and others are prevented regarding the surface of the ink layer, and gradation expression having excellent reproducibility can be acquired without having an influence on the sharpness of the ink layer on thermal transfer. |
