PURPOSE: To manufacture a structure relatively simply at a low cost by rigidly connecting the hand wheels of guide spindles directly to driving wheels, and guiding the torque of respective drive motors to the driving wheels. CONSTITUTION: A cross table 12 is provided with a vertical table 14 adjustable in the axial direction of a main spindle 6 and a horizontal table 16 adjustable in the horizontal direction. The vertical table 14 can be operated via a rotatable vertical guide spindle 46, and the horizontal table 16 can be operated via a rotatable horizontal guide spindle 62 respectively. One of hand wheels 50, 64 is fitted to the vertical guide spindle 46 and the horizontal guide spindle 62 respectively, and the hand wheels 50, 64 are rigidly connected to driving wheels 52, 68 connectable to respective adjusting motors 54, 74. |
