PURPOSE:To obtain an image receiving sheet for a dye heat transfer printer having a high gloss image receiving layer for forming an image having no irregular density by incorporating cured unsaturated (meth)acrylate compound having rosin residue in a molecular structure in an active energy beam curable resin coating layer. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving sheet for this dye heat transfer printer has a sheetlike base, and a resin coating layer formed on at least one side surface of the base and containing polymer cured by emission of an active energy beam as a main ingredient. The coating layer contains cured unsaturated (meth)acrylate compound having rosin residue in its molecular structure. The sheet for the printer is formed at an image receiving layer for receiving and securing a dye image of resin containing unsaturated (meth)acrylate copolymer having rosin residue in its molecule, and a uniform image can be formed in a high dying concentration by curing it with active energy beam.
