PURPOSE:To obtain the catalyst filter for cracking ozone which has high activity over a long period of time and is low in pressure drop and peeling rate by confining the coating thickness of the catalyst active materials to be deposited on a carrier within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst filter for cracking ozone is formed by depositing the catalyst active materials, such as MnO2, CuO and Fe2O3, on the foam carrier, such as polyurethane foam and ceramics foam. The thickness of the catalyst active materials to cover the carrier is confined to 10 to 200mum at this time. The resulted catalyst filter for cracking ozone is the excellent filter which is high in ozone cracking rate, small in pressure drop and is substantially free from peeling, etc. |
