PURPOSE:To enable maintaining the light fastness of a recorded image sufficiently by laminating at least one layer of highly hygroscopic sheet material on the ink-transporting layer surface of a recording material forming a picture image in a recorded material through ink drops. CONSTITUTION:A color print material 7 is composed of a highly hygroscopic sheet material 1, an ink-transporting layer 2 being the ink-recording surface of a recorded material 6, an ink-retaining layer 3 having a pattern 5 and a translucent base material 4 provided on the surface of the layer 3 and causes the highly hygroscopic sheet material 1 to adjoin the ink-transporting layer 2 side of the recorded material 6. The quality or thickness of the highly hygroscopic sheet material is not limited especially but woven and nonwoven fabrics or the sheet material such as paper and wire net with hygroscopic property of not less than 0.2g are suitable. For the purpose of forming the ink-retaining and ink-transporting layers on the translucent base material, a coating liquid is prepared by the dissolution or dispersion of the material in a solvent, then applied to the base material by a roll coating method, rod bar coating method, etc., and thereafter dried quickly. |
