PURPOSE:To raise the safety of a gate by a method in which a gate body transferred on a barge is laid to a movable tool on a stage temporarily set between weir columns and inversed while being lifted up by a lifter on a stable scaffold. CONSTITUTION:A lifter 7, a frame assembly 12 and a stage 10 are set by dry work, a gate body 3 being laid down on a barge 2 is transferred, and both ends of the gate body 3 are positioned above the stage 10. A movable supporter 15 is lifted up by operating a jack 14, the gate body 3 is lifted up through receivers 19 and 20, and the barge 1 is retracted from between weir columns 5. Afterwards, the stage 10 is lowered and the upper part of the gate body 3 is lifted up by the wire of the lifter 7 under the condition that the body 3 is supported by a fixed supporter 13. Whereupon, the gate body 3 is inversed while the movable tool 16 is moved in a following manner to become uprisen state. |
