<p>PURPOSE:To simplify structure and operation as well as improve appearance of a locking device by providing a locking mechanism with a lever for the side recession of a hood and also a hood catch to couple with the key of the locking mechanism for the side of vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A rotable locking mechanism 1 with a lever 10 is provided in the recession 39 of a recessed plate 31 formed on the frong side of a box-like opening and closing type hood 3 provided to a forklift. A hood catch 2 to couple with the key 12 of the locking mechanism 1 is provided to the frame 4 side of the body. The lever 10 is pulled to the hitherside F against a coil spring 15 by hand 5 in the lower space H of the lever 10, and the key 12 is torned to the direction of E to remove it from a catch 2. While the lever 10 is grasped by hand 5, the hood 3 is pushed upwards to open it, or the hand 3 is pulled down to lock it.</p> |
