PURPOSE:To easily measure the optical characteristics of the lens plate used by transmitting the videos of a video display device through the transmission type lens plate to be measured to make transmitted light, photographing the projected image projected onto a projecting screen with a telecamera, and thereby obtaining output signals. CONSTITUTION:The videos of the video display device 2 of the multidirectional stereoscopic video display device of a straight viewing type are transmitted through the transmission type lens plate 1 to be measured mounted on the front surface thereof to form the transmitted light at the time of measuring the optical characteristics of the transmission type lens plate 1 used for the stereoscopic video display device. This transmitted light is projected onto the projecting screen 3 and the projected image 5 is photographed by the telecamera 4. The optical characteristics of the transmission type lens plate 1 are determined from the output signal 6 of the telecamera 4. The diversion of the video display device for the light source for measurement is possible in this way and the simultaneous measurement of the characteristics of a continuous radiation angle lens plate is possible without using a specifically moving luminance meter. |
